The 2025 Hobart Cup

After listening closely to our football community, especially our friends from clubs outside of Hobart, we’ve made the decision to move back to a single weekend format for the 2025 Hobart Cup.

We understand travelling across two weekends can be challenging for families with multiple players and we want to make the Cup as accessible as possible for everyone.

So the confirmed dates for all age groups and one huge football filled weekend are the 5, 6 & 7 September 2025.

More information to come!

Acknowledgment

The organisers of the Hobart Cup, alongside the parents, players and football community wish to acknowledge the deep connection to Country and Culture of the traditional custodians on the lands on which we meet, gather and play. For thousands of years, the nine nations of Tasmanian Aboriginal peoples have hunted, gathered, shared and practised Culture on these lands. We acknowledge the pakana palawa of  lutruwita and the Tasmanian Aboriginal communities today and always. We thank them for the history and culture of Country and pay our respect to Elders past, present and those to come.  It is a privilege to play on these beautiful and sacred lands and we are committed to form a part of and support the continued sharing of knowledge and Culture. We gather and play in the spirit of deep respect. Always was, always will be Aboriginal lands.
