The Hobart Cup is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for every child and young person.
If you have a concern about the safety or wellbeing of a child
Make sure the child is safe.
Listen calmly if a child tells you something.
Do not question, investigate or attempt to determine whether an allegation is true.
Do not promise confidentiality.
Record what you saw, heard or were told as accurately as possible.
Notify the Tournament Director immediately.
Complete a Hobart Cup Incident Report where appropriate.
If a child is in immediate danger, or there is an emergency, call 000.
Concerns about a child's safety or wellbeing can also be reported to Tasmania's Strong Families Safe Kids Advice and Referral Line on 1800 000 123.
