Entry into the Hobart Cup is only open to the regions of Football Australia (FA) Member Federations, i.e., Football Tasmania, Capital Football, Football Northern Territory, Football South Australia, Football Victoria, Football New South Wales, Football Northern New South Wales, Football Queensland and Football West.

All players entered into the Hobart Cup must be nationally registered players for 2026. All interstate players must be sanctioned by their Member Federation.

Please note, once you register your team you have one week to pay after nominating. All payments must be made by 7 August. This helps us avoid chasing payments and manage all age groups fairly.

The Refund Policy is available here. Please read it carefully before nominating. Please do not register your team until you are sure you can field a team. Please do not enter a strong team in a Plate (formerly Tier 2) category. This is not in the spirit of the game.

The cost is $395 per team (GST inclusive) for U8 to U16 teams, and is $230 per team (GST inclusive) for the U5 and U7 age groups, noting the 4v4 teams have a maximum of 8 players per team.

If you are a Club have entered multiple teams and would like to make a single payment via direct deposit. In this case you would use as your reference your club name x [no. of teams] that the payment covers. Team Lists and Member Federation Sanctions must be submitted by Friday, 7 August 2026.
